JFE Shoji Electronics strengthens its management foundation through the implementation of Integrated Cloud ERP System “SAP® Business ByDesign®“

Ataway Japan K.K. (“Ataway Japan”; Headquarter: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Quang Nguyen) announces that JFE Shoji Electronics Corporation (“JFE-SE”; Headquarter: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takaaki Yanagisawa) is live with SAP® Business ByDesign®, a cloud ERP system for small and medium-sized businesses, provided by SAP Japan Co., Ltd. (“SAP Japan”; Headquarter: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & Managing Director:Hirofumi Suzuki).
The system implementation was completed by Ataway Japan, and is live since December 2019.

JFE-SE – the unique electronics trading corporation of the JFE Group – serves as a partner to its customers by focusing on the future and utilizing its technical support abilities and system proposal skills. JFE-SE not only handles a wide selection of unique products such as semiconductor devices and various types of electronic equipment, but also continuously offers solutions and support by leveraging these products.

JFE-SE determined the replacement of its current ERP system was essential for future business and achievement of its corporate vision. The new system selection was based on capability of operational efficiency improvement and ability to utilize management data, through elimination of paper and Excel-based operations, and utilization of production management (processing operation) functionality. In addition, features supporting global import/export processes and business analytics tools for management were very important, given the large volume and profit contribution of international trade for JFE-SE.

SAP Business ByDesign was selected as the system that met the selection criteria, and the full-scale implementation started in February 2019

In parallel to the implementation of SAP Business ByDesign, JFE-SE also delivered integration with Draft Management, Foreign Currency Management, Consolidated Accounting systems, and 3PL’ (outsourced logistics) along with Ataway Japan.
