CCU (Compañía de las Cervecerías Unidas) is a multinational beverage company with a strong presence in Chile and Argentina, with a portfolio that includes beer, cider, wine, spirits, and water. It is the leading brewery in Chile and the second largest in Argentina, with both local brands and international licenses. In Argentina, its operations include approximately 2,500 employees across multiple locations and business units.

The Challenge

Accelerate the regional standardization of HR processes in Argentina by adapting the corporate model already defined and implemented in Chile. The challenge included aligning practices, complying with local legal and statutory requirements, integrating with legacy systems, and addressing the operational characteristics of the Argentine workforce.

CCU partnered with Ataway to implement Oracle HCM Cloud in Argentina, with teams from both Chile and Argentina working together to ensure regional consistency and local adoption.

The scope included the go-live of Core HR and Absence Management, following the corporate model and ensuring regulatory compliance. The platform was integrated with legacy systems and supported by best practices and automation to reduce manual tasks.
