Through numerous projects, Ataway built very strong relationships with its major customers.  The following are some examples of the projects Ataway has undertaken in specific industries:


For one of the leading reinsurance companies, with a market cap of over $3.5 Billion and over $10 Billion in assets, Ataway upgraded their Financials system from release 7.5 to 8.4 for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Cash Management modules in a fully Sarbanes-Oxley compliant framework. We implemented Asset Management and adapted PeopleSoft Treasury features to manage complex financial instruments. We provided onsite support to all of their locations in North America, Europe and Asia.


For one of the largest manufacturers of high technology products, such as optical fiber and flat screens, with over $6 Billion of revenue and 32,000 employees in 30 countries, Ataway has been providing consulting services for the last five years and is managing the upgrade of their Financials and Distribution systems.  This project includes the integration, into a single database, of all locations outside the US and the implementation of a Shared Support Center for the locations in Asia. The first phase of this project has already been successfully delivered to the client in early May of 2005.


For a leading pharmaceutical drug manufacturer using PeopleSoft HRMS, Payroll and Global Payroll modules worldwide with a significant volume of data and major performance issues; we provided technical analysis, proof of concept for solutions, integration and testing for the Global Payroll calculation to reduce the overall process time and stabilize the process execution. The process time was minimized by half for Payroll Calculation and by a tenth for additional processes.


For a prestigious investment bank, which recently went public on the New York Stock Exchange, we helped define the upgrade strategy for their financial system to release 8.8 and provided expertise on US and International accounting requirements for the preparation of their consolidated financial statements. Our knowledge on book code accounting was greatly appreciated while reviewing the configuration of the General Ledger processes to accommodate this feature. We assisted in re-engineering their PeopleSoft security configuration to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and facilitate the ongoing maintenance.


The capital market division of a leading international bank requested Ataway to participate in the implementation of a platform to manage the Maintenance, Repair and Operation (MRO) expenses for their Asian, North American and European locations.

This project consisted of executing a centralized system based on the following PeopleSoft modules: E-Procurement, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Assets Management, Travel and Expense and General Ledger.

With the successful on-time delivery and cost savings from this undertaking, the bank has decided to extend the MRO platform to other branches of the business. Ataway provides project management and PeopleSoft expertise for this challenging endeavor.
