Ataway Opens Global Business Process Management Practice

In line with the company's commitment to the development of comprehensive solutions for businesses, Ataway (www.ataway.com) has put into place a Global Business Process Management Practice to be run from the company's offices in Argentina.

BPM is an area of technology closely related to Ataway’s core business and includes methodology, tools and technologies used to design, represent, analyze and control business processes, such as supply, sales, customer support, administration and finance, and others.

This Practice is the result of the natural evolution of a decade’s work and the accumulated experience in the ERP market and with business processes, complemented by a Six Sigma approach applied to all of the company’s projects. The Practice’s objective is to work with Ataway customers locally and globally, to assist them in implementing successfully BPM solutions and tools that will provide enhanced agility and flexibility in their business processes.

The Practice will be led by Mariano Benitez, who has over ten years of experience in BPM as an architect at BPM vendors Fuego, BEA Systems, and Oracle. Benitez has played a key role in numerous BPM projects all over the world, has acted as a solution architect and BPM evangelist, he is a certified expert in BPM and was Co-chair of the committee that developed the BPMN 2.0 process modeling standard.

Argentina is particularly advanced in the BPM market, as it has been the R&D laboratory for one of the most successful BPM products on the market for more than 10 years. With this new Practice, active in all countries where Ataway is present, the company expects to reach USD 1million in revenue during its first year, with high growth expectations for the following years.
